What a shocking result it was last Sunday, who would of thought it? No one could of guessed that Jedward would be voted out of the X-factor last week…oh and Tottenham beat Wigan 9-1.

Premiership Betting tips: Everton v Liverpool- It’s the Merseyside derby and both teams go into this game with injury problems and poor form.  This Premiership game has seen 17 red cards, a record number for any Premiership game.  So that’s why we’ll concentrate on betting on the ‘Shown a card’ market instead of predicting a winner.  Lets back repeat offender Mascherano to pick up a yellow, you can get odds of 2.94 on Betfair.  Also back the two Lucas players playing on both sides (Lucas Neil and Liverpool Lucas -what’s his other name???) at odds of 2.0 and 3.6.

Premiership betting tips: Chelsea v Manchester United- This Sunday it’s a massive top of the table clash between last year’s Premiership runners up and Champions.  Alot will say that Rio Ferdinand will be a big miss for United, but anyone who saw him come against Torres two weeks ago will know that he’s not been at his best in recent weeks.  Out of the 34 times the teams have met in the Premiership, the Blues have won 10  and the Reds 10, with the rest of the games drawn.  The odds for a Chelsea win is 2.06 (21/20) and United are at odds of 4.3 (7/2).

Both teams won’t want to lose this game and both teams will surely settle for a draw if the chance should occur, you can back these at odds of 3.45(12/5) on Betfair.   But the main betting tip of the day should be to back Drogba to score at anytime, he’s been in good form lately and will be a handful for an untried United defensive pairing.

Premiership betting tips:Fulham v Liverpool-Liverpool pulled off a great performance against their bitter rivals Manchester United last Sunday , with Fulham fighting back against Manchester City to earn a well deserved point.  The Reds will be without Gerrard again and right back Johnson will miss the game too.  It was a big result for Liverpool last week but these are the games which they have struggled to win so far this season.  You can back the draw at 12/5 (3.45)on Betfair, a Liverpool win is 21/20 (2.04) and a Fulham win at odds of 7/2 (4.4)

Fulham have shown that they are a tough team to beat and Liverpool may find this a tricky fixture (only scoring in the last minute last season to win 1-0).  Backing the draw is tempting, but lets take a risk and go for a Fulham win, lay Liverpool if you don’t like the risk factor (so you win if Liverpool draw or lose).

Portsmouth v Tottenham Hotspur betting tip - So Harry is back at his old club Pompey, he’ll be hoping that the visit to Fratton Park will go ‘triffic’.  Alot of ex-players will be turning out to play for both sides, Defoe, Crouch, Kaboul and Prince Boateng to name a few.  Back Defoe and Kaboul to score at anytime against their old teams, you can get odds of 2.38 (11/8) and 9.2 (8/1).
